The philosophy of my practice is using technological advancements to achieve minimally invasive surgical results. My training includes Thyroid, Parathyroid, and Head & Neck Oncological Surgery. Thyroid Ultrasound and Ultrasound Guided Fine Needle Aspiration are utilized. Thyroid, Parathyroid, Parotid, and Neck Surgery include nerve integrity monitoring. Parathyroid surgery employs sestimbi localizing studies and the rapid parathyroid hormone assay. Laser Technology can be used for selected problems including problems with the larynx. Reconstruction includes a multi-disciplinary team approach using modern plating systems, local or regional flaps, and free tissue transfer, that lead to improved function and appearance. Trachael-Esophageal Puncture for speech rehabilitation after Laryngectomy and Thyroplasty and Injection Laryngoplasty, to improve vocal quality for vocal cord paralysis is offered. An endoscopic minimally invasive approach to a Zenker's Diverticulum is used.

Treatment for local and advanced skin cancer as well as reconstructive nasal surgery is practiced.

In the field of endoscopic sinus surgery, high resolution video monitoring, micro-debriders, and Image Guided Surgery are employed. I maintain a broad background in General Ear, Nose & Throat problems.
